Ember & Bone Maker’s Box
Warm grain. Burning color. Built to be mixed.
This box was made for the knifemaker who sees a pile of pieces and immediately starts figuring out what can be stacked together.
The Ember & Bone Maker’s Box brings together warm reds, natural antler, richly figured burl, black accents, and a flash of sunset orange. Inside is enough material to create AT LEAST THREE knife handles, with plenty of smaller pieces specifically chosen for spacers, transitions, and accents.
Inside you'll find:
• Whitetail antler• Buckeye burl – one block plus an additional piece large enough for approximately two spacers• Spalted maple dyed deep red• Black acrylic pieces• Deep red acrylic pieces• Two pieces of spalted hickory burl – each capable of yielding at least three spacers• Warm red-toned wood• Cholla filled with sunset-orange acrylic – perfect for a standout spacer
Build around the antler. Break up the natural woods with black. Drop in a thin line of deep red. Use the orange cholla as the piece nobody expects. Or cut everything apart and come up with something we never thought of. That's exactly what these boxes are for.
