Wood Stabilizing
Since 2018
Looking for quality stabilizing from a shop that understands makers? We have been stabilizing wood and creating hybrids since 2018 and take pride in every piece we process. Clear dye and double dye options are available, with pricing based on finished weight. Turnaround is typically 6–8 weeks from the time your wood arrives.
Because wood is a natural material, results can vary depending on species, density, spalting, and internal character, but we always do our best to produce the highest quality result possible and will work to make things right if an issue comes up.

Professional Resilience
We transform punky organic material into rock-solid crafting stocks. By removing moisture through the drying process, deep-vacuum cycles, and soaking, we ensure every burl and punky blank is ready for the precision of the lathe or the grinder. Our process doesn't just treat wood—it engineered it for a lifetime of use.
Structural Integrity
Deep vacuum infusion helps to prevent warping and cracking in delicate or spalted specimens.
Superior Finish
Treated blanks achieve a high-gloss, glass-like finish.
Dimensional Stability
Resin-blocked cells are more stable in seasonal humidity shifts, ensuring your final product stays exact.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is pricing calculated?
Pricing is based on the finished weight after stabilizing, not the incoming weight of the wood.
Do I need to cut my wood before sending it?
Yes. All wood must be cut to shape before shipping, and no block may be over 5 inches wide. We do recommend cutting a little larger than what tis needed in case of warping during the drying process.
How long does the process take?
Estimated turnaround is 6–8 weeks from the date we receive your wood. You will receive email updates on the progress and stages.
Do you offer refunds or returns?
No. Because this is a custom service using your specific material, we do not offer refunds or returns. But if you have any problem, contact me and I will do my best to make it right.
Can you guarantee results?
No. Wood is a natural material, and species, spalting, density, and hidden flaws can affect the outcome. We always do our best and take pride in our work.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A deposit of $50 or 50% down of prestabilized weight is required before any work begins, with the balance due before return shipment.
